April Is Here. So Is Your Workout Kit.

April snuck up on me.

Which is fitting, actually, because so did sugar.

Somewhere between winter comfort food and general life-being-life, sugar worked its way back into my daily diet.

This will come as no surprise to anyone who follows me on Facebook, where I recently posted about the amazing brownie trail mix I found in the Hannaford clearance bin.

I feel yucky and it’s time to kick added sugars to the curb.

So anyway, April is going to be my month for that. Not excited about the discomfort I know is ahead of me, but definitely excited for those aches and pains I know will leave my body when my diet is cleaner!

This month’s theme is Covering All The Bases — and I mean that literally.

We’re giving attention to the muscles that don’t get a lot of 1:1 attention: your stabilizers and accessory muscles. But no worries, your major muscle groups will also feel these workouts.

We’re also doing arm work, in part because of the “helper” focus but also because tank top season is coming! Which is a completely valid reason on its own. 😉💪
