Get the inside right and the outside will follow.

… About Wendy Watkins
Being a successful fitness coach requires more than counting reps and coaching proper squat form.
It also has a lot to do with understanding your individual needs … whether your trainer works with you privately, in a group, or online.
My number one goal? To help you get (and stay!) healthy in a way that’s fun, results-driven, and empowering.
But it’s also about helping you like what you see in the mirror – that you radiate strength, fitness, and wellness – whether you’re a high-school athlete or you’re chasing your grandchildren across the lawn.
And whether its in-person at Thrive Fitness Studio or online, we want to give you a safe, supportive space that helps you accomplish that.

My Fitness Philosophy
Find your own fitness groove.
Maybe you love to dance. Maybe you lift.
Maybe you dance and lift …
… or yoga, CrossFit, run, swim, kick, punch, spin, barre, pilates, step, walk, cavort.
Keep doing that.
Truth: There is no “perfect” diet.
Eat the way that makes you happy (vegan, paleo, straight-up gluten, whatever).
Just don’t eat too much. And don’t eat too little.
Life is too short not to enjoy real food.
Feed Your Mind.
Challenge your brain, not just your body.
Read books. Learn things. Try something new.
It’ll make you an all-around threat.
Feed the fire in your soul.
You are your only limit.
Your body hears everything your mind says.
Take pride in how far you’ve come, have faith in how far you’ll go.
